In Memory

Joseph "Joey" Winget

St. George - Our beloved Joseph Paul Winget, son, brother, grandson and nephew, passed on at Dixie Medical Center May 28, 2012 with his family by his side. He valiantly struggled as a paraplegic since an auto accident at the tender age of 14. He was born May 4, 1973 to Greg L. Winget and Barbara J. Stevens in Murray Utah.

Joey had many interests and showed a keen affection to his family members and friends. Although his mortal light has dimmed we have much to learn from the eternal light of his loving soul.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara (George) Fuller of St. George; father, Greg Winget of Littlefield, AZ; brothers, Barron Winget of St. George, Jason Winget of Salt Lake, and Zachary Fuller of Denver, CO; and sister, Anna Hansen. He also leaves behind his loving grandfather and patriarch Dr. Lerue W. Winget and many treasured aunts, uncles and cousins.

We express our special thanks and gratitude to Joey's twin brother Barron who served as caretaker for the past two years.

Memorial services will be at Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 11:00 at the Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 S. Bluff St, St. George, UT. A celebration of Joey's life will be held Saturday, June 23, 2012.
